For Women’s Month, Diamante Energia is hosting the inspiring talk “I stopped walking, and learned to fly”, given by Andrea Schwarz, a digital influencer, entrepreneur and inclusion leader. The event will take place on March 26 at 7pm at the Diamante +Energia Park Theater.
At the age of 22, Andrea was diagnosed with a congenital malformation in her spinal cord and started using a wheelchair. Together with her husband, Jaques Haber, she founded iigual, a consultancy specializing in the inclusion of people with disabilities (PCD) in the job market. Over almost two decades, they have helped more than 20,000 people get jobs in more than a thousand companies.
Today Schwarz has more than 600,000 followers on her social networks and was the first woman with a disability to be elected to Linkedin Top Voice, a label given to highlight the platform’s most influential and engaged members.
In the talk, Schwarz will share her extraordinary life journey as a woman, professional, PCD, wife and mother.
Admission is free and open to the general public.
