Legally created in 2017 to manage the Jorge Lacerda Thermoelectric Complex, Diamante Geração de Energia has had new management since October 18, 2021, and is now operating as an independent company.

Diamante Geração de Energia is presenting itself to the market with the aim of participating in a Just Energy Transition and investing in new generation sources to create medium-term alternatives to non-mitigated coal generation.
