The ranking is published annually by the Ministry of Culture.
Social transformation is one of Diamante Energia’s pillars. The company invests in various social projects that have a positive impact on people’s lives. In 2023, according to a survey by the Ministry of Culture, Diamante was the fifth largest contributor to incentivized projects in Santa Catarina.
Last year, APAE Capivari de Baixo, CEACA, COMBEMTU, Joanna D’Angelis, Pequenos Leoninos Association, Bairro da Juventude, Nossa Senhora da Conceição Hospital, Asilo São Vicente de Criciúma, São José Hospital in Criciúma, Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil and Jorge Lacerda Association were some of the organizations supported in projects in the areas of culture, education, sports, citizenship, human rights and the protection and defense of the rights of children and adolescents.
For Diamante Energia’s Administrative and Financial Director, Luiz Ricardo de Oliveira Beatrice, it is a great satisfaction to contribute to so many transformative projects. “We are all very pleased and fulfilled to see that we have somehow managed to reach and support so many people, especially children and teenagers, with effects that extend to their families. Being ranked 5th in the state reinforces our commitment to society and shows that Diamante, through energy generation, contributes to transforming lives through culture, sport and leisure,” said Beatrice.
In addition to the state ranking, the institution also appeared in the national ranking, occupying 126th position alongside other large companies in the country. With its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and the Just Energy Transition, Diamante Energia continues to play a crucial role in the energy sector and in society.
